The Mina Project

Ok... we go to Hope Community Church and once a year our church gives money away! Yep...they give it away in increments of $10 to each person that comes to church. The challenge...is to DO something with the money.

Now... you can combine your money with other people to put on an event to make more money to give back, you can use the money to buy materials to do a "project" for somebody else, you can give the money to a homeless person, you can use it to buy something for someone who is in need, you get the picture?

Our small group is thinking about combining our money then we would have about $200 to do something.....we just have to figure out WHAT! We would like it to be a money maker so we can at least double, hopefully triple the amount to give back! Any suggestions??????

Well, what would you think about a cookbook? Each couple could submit 10 recipes (typed up and ready to be copied). Then somebody could take them to Staples and have them bound. Each couple would be responsible for selling 10 for $10 each (I would buy one!).It would be low cost and would have a good bit of cash return. Also, you will not have to wash cars or cook spaghetti for 200.
