REFRESHED!!!!!!!!!! A weekend retreat...

This past weekend I went to our church's Women's Retreat at Ft. Caswell Beach! It was wonderful!! The pictures don't do it justice...so just google Ft. Caswell Baptist Retreat..and look at the pics! It is a very nice, PEACEFUL place! The speaker was Micca Campbell of Proverbs 31 Ministries. S"he was from Nashville, TN..and her accent confirmed it! LOL... she was an awesome speaker!! We would have our General Assemblies in the morning, and then we went to our Mini Labs.. we had the choice of various different labs and topics to attend. We got to attend 3 of those and then we had a General Assembly at night...The labs I attended were..

1} Be Married to Me - This was a good topic, and the speaker related it to her marriage as they underwent various problems...she "unplugged" from her husband and plugged into God. The closer she got to God...the more she was able to deal with her husband instead of being so dependent on him.

2) Singing Praises Without Words - This was really fun! We learned to "sign" a song! The song we learned was "The Air I Breathe" which is one of my favorites! AWESOME!!

3) Find Your Purpose - This was taught by a Certified Life Coach. She was great!! I wish we had had more time with her! The first thing she told us to do...was to find our Essence. To do this, you ask several people this question.... What do you see in me when I walk into a room? Sooo...feel free to answer!

It was a really good weekend with great company! There was some free time to spend on the beach. One lady was actually baptized on Sunday... and then it was time to leave..Until next year!
