Just Catching Up

Wow...lots have happened since my last post... Easter, James's first birthday, Mother's Day...just to name a few!!!

Easter was fun... Jillian and Greg came from Georgia! We actually went to Trip's mothers for Easter lunch... she made the babies their Easter baskets!

James turned ONE YEAR OLD!! Where did the time GO??? He is really coming into his own now....and he is such a LOVE!!

The first weekend of May, Trip and I spent the night in Burlington on Friday night then bright and early on Saturday morning we got up and drove Trip's mom to Columbia, SC for her sister, Alice's, 80th birthday! Greg and Jillian met us there. We went and had a nice lunch and then Trip, Jillian, Greg, and I went for a city tour around Columbia!! HAH! Actually we were looking for a Target...but never found one... Then it was off to the party and visiting with all the cousins! It was alot of fun seeing everyone!

Last weekend was Mother's Day...Trip and I rode the bike to Burlington and spent the night with his Mom, went to church with her, then rode back to the house. We had prepared our garden spot the day before, and bought our plants.. so when we got home we went and got some soil and fertilizer and set to work! We planted 3 German Johnson tomato plants, 3 Better Boys, and 3 Cherry Tomato plants, some basil, 3 banana peppers, 2 jalapenos, 1 ceyenne, and 1 habnero......now we cross our fingers and hope they grow!!!!

Trip is now looking for work...we are HOPING we won't have to move....but if he stays in newspaper, we know a move will be inevitable... so say a prayer!
