Mellow Monday

I can't think of A THING to say tonight...(that doesn't happen often!!) So, yes, I am going to COPY my darling daughter..and post a recipe! This is a dish from a previous post, but it is so good that I thought I would share the recipe. And I really like it because you can use frozen shrimp, you don't even have to thaw it!! I hope you enjoy!

SPICY SHRIMP (for a picture...see previous post of the FEAST! )

1 clove garlic, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
1 bay leaf
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 onion sliced
1 lemon, squeezed and quartered
1 tblsp. Old Bay Seasoning
1 jalapeno pepper, sliced

Put all the above ingredients in a pot, add 2 cans of beer. Bring to a boil & boil for 5 minutes. Add 1 lb. frozen raw peeled shrimp, you can also use fresh shrimp. Boil for 5 minutes or until done. Great warm or cold!
