Wednesday Nights..

Are our Small Group nights. Our small group is a group of couples that get together once a week and study the Bible.....usually through some type of book or study of some kind. The fellowship is awesome and this is just a great group of people. And the refreshments are always wonderful!! Tonight there was hot cider and Sweet Potato Cake...to die for!!!

We are studying "Soulprint" by Mark Batterson...good book! It is based on David and Goliath. We were talking tonight about Life Symbols....and the altars that were built back in Biblical days and why they were built..etc.. Well...just in case you don't know..the altars were built as remembrances of God and what He meant to them... In our life, everybody has some kind of symbol or memories that reminds them of something... Life symbols are those things that would remind you of your relationship with Christ...your journey...Everyone wrote down one folded the paper and put them all in a bowl... we would draw one, read it, and see if we could guess who's it was. Very interesting stories!!! We had 1. a beach ball, 2. a challice 3. a stuffed bunny 4 "Left Behind" 5. a wine bottle...just to name a few! It could be anything, anything that reminds YOU that you are a child of God..so...What are some of YOUR life symbols??
