Andy and Kari went to the beach this weekend for a much needed getaway! They took Eva with them so that Amanda could spend some time with her! So James stayed with Lolli and Pop for the weekend....and we REALLY enjoyed him!! It is SO different when you have just one of the kids! I had to work on Saturday so Pop spent most of the day with James...when I got home from work I got to feed James his lunch and put him down for his nap..and I took one too! When I woke up, Pop and James were downstairs playing with James' toolbox...James learned quickly that he needed to be the one to handle the tools! (haha)Sunday we all went to church. James walked right into his class and started playing with the others! He had a good time at church. We came home and had lunch, then took a nap...I like his schedule!! We have had such a good time with him...and it is SO different!! HE is so different! No screaming, no crying...not ONE time out...he was always happy and agreeable! Wow...but then I guess he didn't have anything to cry or be disagreeable about! Nobody here trying to take away toys or get to a toy first or take a snack away....(I told Pop not to do any of that and he listened!)
Yes, it has been very nice getting to spend time with James, by himself, but we ALL miss Eva!! James especially has missed his sister...even if it is not as peaceful when they are together...maybe they like it better that way!! In the morning when he wakes he looked over at her bed and points and says Eva downstairs?...when he gets in his chair for lunch, he looks in the closet and points at Eva's chair and says Eva eat too? Awww... Don't worry James...they come back TODAY!!!! YAY!!!
