This weekend my husband went on a BOYS weekend...in the mountains! He left today with his best friend, Michael. Trip's sister used to say both of them are pretty smart men.....except when they are together...then they BOTH get dumb as rocks!!! But, that is for another post..LOL!
Well.....this is my husband..he's a pretty big guy...6'4", and as you can see, he has a full beard...a "manly" man.
Well, they were supposed to ride their motorcycles up to the mountain cabin where they were meeting up with a couple of other guys...but Michael called last night and was afraid it was going to rain.....so they decided to drive up instead...
I got home this afternoon, and my daughter-in-law said.."Well I know what we can get Trip for Christmas...it's a shame his birthday or something isn't close" It seems THIS is what he packed his stuff in.... to go on his BOYS weekend....you know
...to play poker, shoot guns...and whatever else they do...
I walked into our bedroom to find that he had also taken "his" pillow....it just keeps getting better, doesn't it????
And then he called...to let me know they got there ok...and to say he missed me...and that he loved me. He said the guys gave him a hard time about the pink suitcase....didn't bother him any, he has always been comfortable with who he is.... BUT PINK POLKA DOTS????
