Motorcycle Mama?? Yep, that's me!! LOL... Well...maybe not! But we did enjoy a nice ride with good friends this past Memorial Day. The weather was wonderful and the ride was smooth....well kinda. There are some rough spots on old US 1! We met in Apex, and went to Sanford...then on to Pittsboro. We had planned to stop in Pittsboro for lunch a cute little diner there in the square, but they were closed... BOO.. So we went on to Chapel Hill where we went in search of the Red, Hot an Blue...but nowhere to be found! But in its place was Jim's Famous BBQ. It was very good! Then we backtracked a few blocks to A Southern Season. For all of my followers that may not be acquainted with NC... A Southern Season is THE STORE of all stores for cooking, eating, anything pertaining to entertaining! It is AWESOME....so we all went in and looked around,, wished we were millionaires...and left! LOL .. When we came out of the store..there were dark, ominous looking clouds in the direction that Trip and I had to go in! Our riding buddies were all from Durham and they were riding in the direction of clear skies! Oh well.... my wonderful hubby did not let me get wet! We made it home with about 20 minutes to spare before the rain started falling!!! It was a good day!
