We had fun this past Saturday at my sister's house. It started out kind of shaky though when my sister called and said that Brad had been sent home from work because his whole shift had some sort of stomach bug.. GREAT!!! But after a few phone calls, it was decided we were still "on". So off we went! On the ride to Burlington I didn't think anybody was going to get to swim though... it POURED rain. But the sun came out and some did get in the pool. My great niece, Ashlynn, was in a quandary.. she really wanted to go swimming..but they thought it was going to rain all day so they didn't pack a suit!!! BUT....TA-DA!!!! Great Aunt Pat came to her rescue and fashioned a lovely suit from Anita's dish towel!! LOL.. We all had much too much to eat once again...Anita had cooked a big pasta salad, hot dogs, baked beans, and a WONDERFUL fruit salad! We enjoyed just being together....and missed the ones that couldn't be. Trip took a few pictures.. so enjoy! And we hope to see you there NEXT TIME!!
