This Weather and stuff..

WoW!!! 80 degree weather after the HORRIBLE weather of last week!!! AND a snow day on Monday and a 2 hour delay on Tuesday....CRAZY weather!! But I am enjoying the warm weather...YAY for as long as it lasts!!

Yesterday we had a baby shower here at the house, hosted by some of Kari's high school friends! It was a big success and she got alot of new clothes and things for baby James! We have had alot of company this weekend...we were glad to see Trudy (Kari's mom), and Linda her mom's friend, and Kristin (Kari's sister) from Atlanta..and Meagan (Kari's friend) from Washington DC, and Amanda from Pawley's Island!! These were just the ones that stayed overnight. It was great to see everybody! Trudy, Kari's mom, is always a wonderful help when she is here!!!

Trip and I went to the 6:00 service last night at our church...we have been going to a very contemporary, non denominational, very large church! And we are really liking it! It is different from anything either of us has attended before, you can REALLY come as you are...jeans, t-shirts, shorts...doesn't matter. The senior pastor is the only one we have heard so far...and we really like him! We joined a small group for the church wide six week study on Acts. We have enjoyed it so much that we will stay with this group. We have made some great friends and look forward to getting closer to them. The women of Hope (Hope Community Church) are in the midst of planning a womens retreat for mid-April, and I am going. I am really looking forward to it! A couple of the women in my small group are going and we are going to room together.

Well, it is going to be 82 again today...we have already turned the clocks up....we have the whole day in front of us.. It is going to be a glorious day!!!!!

Sounds like you had a good crowd for the shower. Glad you got to see Kari's mom and friends.

The weather has been crazy here as well.

This church sounds great and I am glad you all like it !
