MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! - 2014

It is Christmas Day! This year has been very different for us! Our first without children! We celebrated Christmas a couple of days ago. The Georgia crew came up and stayed for a couple of nights....the grands had a ball! The NC crew will leave today for Charlotte to celebrate with Kari's family. And we will leave for the beach soon! And one more Christmas will be over... This one has been different for many reasons....no children, no presents, no travel, and for me, no midnight service! But it has been good! We decided early on that only the kids would receive gifts this year...oh that simplified things so much! There is nothing I need or want...nothing that money could buy...so I received the gift of simplification and it was appreciated!! ... A bout with the flu, among other health issues kept me away from church this year... and that I did miss!! There is always next year!! All in all, we have had a very Merry Christmas!! I hope all that read this did too!!
