My oldest granddaughter saw the hat in the first post...and said "Lolli, is that for me?" I sadly had to tell her No, that it was for her cousin, Baby Caroline!...So she asked me to make a hat for her baby..so I said OK.."Do you want your baby's hat to be just like that one?" I asked.... and of course..she does have a sense of style already!! She said no and proceeded to bring me a skein of lavender yarn and said "no, out of this please, she needs a purple hat!" So I made the hat for her baby doll.. and gave it to her! And then...and then..."Lolli, did you make one for me too???" Again I had to say..No, I made one for your baby liked you asked...but with the look on her face, I hastened to add...you will have yours tomorrow!! Do you want a heart on yours like Baby Caroline's or do you want yours plain like your baby's? And again..with a sense of her own style..she replied "No Lolli, I want a FLOWER"...so here ya go, my Angel baby.. your hat with a FLOWER!!
