Wow!!! This is a Catch UP!!!

Well.....let's see... since my last post...we have said hello to a precious new angel baby named Caroline Gray Glawson!! On Sunday, Nov. 20th, we received a phone call from our baby girl..saying "this is it...they were on their way to the hospital"! Actually she called her Daddy..who then woke his mom (we had decided to spend the weekend in Burlington) and then me! All three of us jumped up and we were out the door under 30 minutes!!! We were PUMPED!!! ...and then we rode..and rode..and rode... ugh...but at that hour...traffic was NOT a problem!! Praise the Lord for that!! We got to the hospital at about 8:30 AM... and immediately got to see Jillian and Greg! We were in for a "hurry up and wait"...so wait we did..! Cindy and Thomas were already there so we joined them and I have NO idea what we talked about...but I am sure we talked... We stayed in Georgia through Thanksgiving...Mammie made her usual feast! We left Georgia on Friday morning....it was hard to leave!!

THEN... on Tuesday evening...a phone call came..."When can you come back?".. so the next day, we loaded up the car and headed back to Georgia! I think the new Mom was having a little bout of the baby blues! She is doing SOOO great as a new Mom.. but the isolation will get ANYBODY!! I can still remember how I felt when I brought my firstborn home... and nobody can tell you about it!! I felt like I was an AWFUL mother because I was not overjoyed at being at the CONSTANT beck and call of such a tiny person who did nothing except CRY, EAT, SLEEP AND POOP!! It was January.. so I couldn't just take him out anywhere...it was the year that it snowed EVERY week for about 5 weeks!! I had MAJOR baby blues!! So.. I know how my baby girl feels...but sadly, I had to get back to work! Only a little over a week and she will be here! After the Caroline has her immunizations..Mom will be able to take the little angel out.. and then I bet those blues will disappear! My baby girl is an AWESOME momma!!
