Easter Weekend

On this past Easter Weekend, we went to Georgia to spend it with our daughter and her husband! We had a very good time, although unfortunately on Friday morning a call came that our son-in-law's beloved grandfather had unexpectedly passed away! A heart attack....he was 82, so some say "what a blessing to go that way" and I agree...but it doesn't lessen the grief for those left behind! So, in the midst of this very sad event...we did enjoy our time with our pregnant daughter and her husband!! He is SO good to her..he always is, but now that she is pregnant..it is just obnoxious!! LOL.. A mother's (and father's) dream!! If you there was a picture of "love and protect" Greg would be the poster child!!! We love you Greg for taking such good care of OUR baby!! We fixed and had our Easter meal on Saturday night and I didn't take pictures of that...but Jillian did! It was VERY good!!

On Easter Sunday, we went to the Buckhead Church. This is where Jillian and Greg have been attending.. This is a HUGE facility and it was PACKED for several services!!! Andy Stanley is the Senior Pastor...and they bring him in by hollogram...it's CRAZY!!! He really LOOKS like he is on the stage preaching...but nope, he is really at Northpoint preaching...Crazy!

On Friday, after shopping at the Mall of Georgia, we met Greg for lunch! They took us to Jim N Nicks BBQ....OH....MY....GOODNESS!!!! I had the pork BBQ sandwich with the Mac n Cheese...WOW..the BEST macaroni and cheese I have EVER tasted in my LIFE!!! NO JOKE!!! This stuff was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!

We had a VERY nice visit!! Thanks to the wonderful host and hostess!!
