25 Things About ME??????

Well, ok Jillian tagged me on Facebook...but I don't want to put it on Facebook...so here ya go Jillian. I hope I can think of 25 things!!!

1) I love to read. Because of my mother.....I love to read. She read to me when I was little, everyday! I remember going to the Public library with her and being so excited when I could actually read on my own. But then after a while....I still much preferred it when she read to me!

2) I love the cheap-o Queen Anne chocolate covered cherries....YUM!!! Ninety-nine cents a box of pure goodness!

3) I have a fear of bridges....didn't used to...but I now HATE going over bridges!!! And this has just come about in the last 5 or so years.... weird.

4) I like to sing....I don't because I have been told that I really can't...but I like to sing.

5) I love to laugh....who doesn't??? But I sometimes laugh at inopportune times....like when I get nervous or scared., and when you try to stop laughing..it just gets worse!...I passed on this lovely trait to my daughter!! YAY!!!

6) I am a FIERCE protector....mess with me all you want.....but woe unto the person that messes with my friends or family!!!!

7) I love the beach! But I don't love the ocean! Now...that needs some explaining...I love the SOUND and the SIGHT of the beach...but I do not enjoy going into the ocean. I can sit or lay on the beach for hours and be perfectly happy without getting wet! And if I do get wet...I don't ever go in far! No sharks or jellyfish or eels or whatever for me!!!

8) I love ALL the disney movies! I'm talking The Little Mermaid, Bambi, Cinderella...the GOOD ones!!

9) Deep emotion sometimes makes me uncomfortable or embarrassed. I get this from my Dad's side of the family. You just don't cry in public...equates to you just don't cry... And when I was younger I didn't! If I was crying....I was MAD....but now it seems I cry over ANYTHING! I don't know which is worse.

10) I LOVE being a grandmother! It is SO different than being a parent! You get all the good stuff and NONE of the bad!!!! What's not to love??

11) I love to dance! I like to shag....I love all the beach music songs... And I used to be quite good!

12) I was the Alamance County Spelling Bee Champion in 196???

13) I still like to color! I love the HUGE coloring books! Give me one of those and a new box of 64 Crayolas.....I am a happy camper!

14) I can't stand the sight of blood...just other peoples... mine doesn't seem to bother me.. Isn't that backwards then most people?

15) My children think I am the "strong one" in the family. My husband is awesome! He is my rock...and he lets it be believed that I run the show, that I wear the pants, that I am the BOSS...when we both know the truth! Now THAT is a MAN!!!

16) I like to START crafty projects...but alas..I have a very hard time FINISHING those projects!!! LOL....my closet has quilt supplies, scrapbooking supplies, and lots of other goodies!

17) Some of my favorite smells.....bacon frying, the air after a spring rain, coffee brewing...

18) I watch The Batchelor, American Idol, Jon and Kate Plus 8, and LOVED The Gilmore Girls!!!

19) I am very witty...some people may say I'm a smart aleck....but I prefer very witty...

20) I still miss my Mom and Dad....they have passed....and I will always miss them. Daddy was never "my FATHER" he was my DADDY...there is a difference! My Momma was absolutely the sweetest, KINDEST person I have ever come in contact with....EVER. And sadly no....that did not rub off on me!

21) I love daisies.

22) I still believe in Santa Claus!

23) I am still very much in love with my husband after all these years!!! And I know he loves me too!

24) I not only have the best children in the world, but I have the BEST daughter in law and son in law AND mother in law that anyone could ask for...when it comes to IN-LAWS... I have been truly blessed!

25) I miss my daughter VERY much!!!!!
